Molly is already showing her sophisticated side. She is learning to appreciate some of the finer points of life. While this is by no means an exhaustive list, it is representative of some of the good stuff that she likes. I expect she'll soon be on to commenting on a fine pinot noir, enjoying a luxurious cashmere sweater, or pontificating on why it is clear that Roger did use a little extra juice to achieve his super case of bacne. Okay, maybe the last one isn't so much about the finer points of life but she also likes current events.
Anyway, onto Molly's list of new experiences:
This is one of my favorites and her dad's least favorites: baby jeans. Seriously, what is cuter than a pair of baby jeans? John thinks that if we buy baby jeans then we can't send Molly to college. You be the judge. I also like this picture (and probably many subsequent pictures) because of Molly's old man pants look. Her cloth diapers give her a little booty so her pants ride unfortunately high. We think it's worth a few giggles.
Tummy time is pretty fun and Molly is showing her appreciation for the promotion of a global economy with toys from all over the world. On the show off front, she has started being able to turn her head from one side to the other and getting good neck control. I think this means that she'd like to be a professional baseball pitcher and she's looking at first and third, just daring the runners at the corner to steal. I also think I'm projecting a lot onto a three week old. The good news is that she won't remember this anyway.
Molly has learned about the benefits of a holistic approach to good health and has started enjoying massages from her live-in masseuse. Not a bad gig for Dad and it's convenient when you're small enough to fit onto a Boppy.

Those are all WAY too cute! And the baby jeans? Priceless!
I think you can afford baby jeans... Hannah has three pairs for the record (but don't tell Wilson!)
JJ, you are just plain wrong. Baby jeans are worth every penny!
John, I'm with you. It seems like babies could get by with diapers and couple onesies. I'll also throw in a blanket and some booties for warmth.

Jacob, you're poor sock choices negates your comments. Score 3 for baby jeans and 1 for bad sock/shorts outfits.
I love your stories. I think maybe she will be a pro-baseball player. Without Roger's unfortunate bacne of course! For the record... I'm all for baby jeans!
