Ahoy Matey!

Yesterday proved to be perfect canoing weather and we took the little pirate out on an excursion upriver from our house. Molly was a good little boater and fared well out on the river. She spent most of the actual paddling time snoozing (family resemblance?) but enjoyed the warm river water and took a little dip. She attempted to carve out a bigger river channel by ingesting lots of sand but hopefully we kept most of it on land or in the water rather than in her eyes or mouth.

Starting out the trip...

about 30 seconds into the trip...

splashing with Daddy...

smiling with Grampy...

heading home...

about 30 seconds into heading home...

big finish.

I really can't get over how much Molly resembles her Daddy in his sleep habits. I'm sort of jealous that she just goes to sleep anywhere!

Great pics, Molly is quite the little adventurer. When is the first white water rafting trip?
